Paid Subscribers

All yearly paid subscribers receive quarterly critiques of 10 pages of a work of their choice. These pages can be from a short story, novel, non-fiction piece, or marketing materials like query letters, synopses, etc.

Developmental Edits

I am currently accepting clients for my developmental editing business. My expertise is primarily in Fantasy, Science Fiction, and Horror. The subgenres that I am most well-versed in are Epic Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Apocalyptic SF, and Psychological Thriller.

What will you get?

All potential clients receive a free 30 minute introductory call and a two page evaluation of your beginning. During the call, we will discuss your vision for the project, proposed genre, themes, what you’re looking for from a developmental edit, career goals, etc. to determine if I’m a good fit for you.

After I read your manuscript, you’ll receive a marked-up copy of your book, a document containing questions I had while reading and a document containing thoughts I had while reading. These two documents will inform a 1-hour workshop call to discuss the questions and settle on a revision plan for your manuscript, and you’ll be off to the revision trenches!

My editorial style is clear, direct, but compassionate. I have experience working with writers at every skill level, from professional authors to MFA students to writers embarking on their first novel. Your work will be treated with respect, enthusiasm, and professionalism regardless the place you are on your writing journey.
